Cookie Policy

What lives in your browser

What are cookies and local storage?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser-based mechanism that allows websites to save data without an expiry date. Both are used to remember information between page visits.

NULLO does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. We use a small number of functional storage items described below.

What we store and why

Wallet connection state: If you choose to connect a crypto wallet, a session token and your public wallet address are stored in local storage to keep you signed in across page reloads. No private keys or seed phrases are ever stored. This data is specific to NULLO and is not shared with third parties.

Scan preferences: NULLO may save your most recent input type selection (text, URL, or file) in local storage so the interface remembers your preference on your next visit. This does not contain any scan content.

Analytics: We may use a privacy-focused analytics service that sets a minimal cookie to distinguish unique sessions and measure aggregate usage. This cookie does not track you across other websites and contains no personally identifiable information.

No advertising or retargeting cookies: NULLO does not load ad-network pixels, retargeting tags, or any third-party tracking code that follows you across the web.

Cookies set by third parties

Some third-party services integrated into NULLO may set their own cookies. These include:

Wallet provider libraries: Wallet connection libraries (such as WalletConnect) may set cookies or local storage items to manage the wallet session. Refer to the relevant wallet provider's privacy policy for details.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar advertising-network trackers.

How to control or remove cookies

Browser settings: All modern browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies and clear local storage. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions.

In-app: You can disconnect your wallet at any time from within NULLO. This clears the session token and wallet address from local storage.

Note: Blocking all cookies or clearing local storage will sign you out and reset your preferences. The core scanning functionality does not require any cookies and remains available without them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Service evolves. The 'Last updated' date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
